The children have been very busy practising for our Christmas Nativity this week and are getting very excited! We have given some children a different part this week and will sort costumes out on Monday. If your child has a school costume then they won't need to bring a Christmas jumper in. Your child will be able to tell you this on Monday!

In maths we have introduced the children to repeated addition and have been working practically. Some children are still a little unsure about counting in groups of 2, 5 and 10 so any practise at home would be very helpful.
In English and topic work we have continued with our work on the book Man on the Moon and have been planning a leaflet to advertise trips to the Moon.

In phonics we have been learning to spell lots of the common exception words (tricky words). We will be having a spelling test in the last week of term to assess the children's learning. We have sent a sheet home today with these words on.
