Forest School Planting Day
Today was Tree Planting Day and the start of our new Forest School 🌳Over 100 native trees and fruit bushes were planted by our School Council and friends, with guidance from TEP - The Environment Partnership and Harboroughwoodland.com We couldn't have achieved this without their help, or the support of our parent and grandparent volunteers and Mrs Hunter who popped back to help - thank you for all your hard work 👏💪
Also a very big THANK YOU to all the families who have donated to our tree fundraiser and to Dan Fordham Tree Care for fundraising on our behalf and for the donation of woodchip - we are really grateful 💚
We are so excited for this project and we're over the moon to be growing our own forest at school. This is a legacy that will live on for generations and support hundreds and hundreds of children over time. What a fabulous way to mark our 25th anniversary. #makinghistory #meadowdale25
