Meadowdale Primary School is a thriving and popular community school serving the eastern side of Market Harborough. Our catchment area is bounded by Rockingham Road, Springfield Street, Kettering Road and the A6 but we also welcome applications from outside this area.

Children normally start school in the year in which they turn five but mid-year applications from children moving to the area or from other schools will also be welcome if we have space available to accommodate them.  We have one Foundation Stage intake, in September.  Parents and carers need to apply for a place at our school via the local authority by mid-January and places are confirmed in April. It is important to apply on time to have the best chance of securing a place at your preferred school.

Mid-year transfers

Meadowdale currently has spaces in some year groups for mid-transfers. If this is something you would be interested in please speak to our friendly office team on 01858 465479 or office@mdw.learnat.uk. If you would like to visit the school before making your decision we would be happy to arrange this for you.

Meadowdale is a member of the Leicestershire County Council co-ordinated admissions scheme so to apply for a place you should contact LCC Admissions Team - see  www.leics.gov.uk/admissions 

The School Admissions Code states all admitting authorities must aim to have a decision to parents in 10 school days and it is mandatory the decision is with a parent in 15 school days.
