We all had such wonderful time at the pantomime on Friday. Thank you to the MSA for organising everything, the children loved it! We have had a very exciting week this week and have enjoyed getting messy with finger painting for our Christmas cards.

In maths after Christmas, we will be beginning to learn our numbers to 100. Any practise that you can do at home of this would be much appreciated.

In English after Christmas, we will be learning about Winter and writing descriptions about different wintery scences. We will be encouraging children to use interesting vocabulary and adjectives to make their writing even more exciting!

In phonics, we will be revising the sounds that we have learnt from the Autumn Term i.e. ae, ee, oe, oo, u, ie, and ow. We will focus on the different ways of spelling the different sounds.

For over the Christmas holiday, we will be sending home a few extra books for you to read with your child at home. We will also send home some handwriting paper so the children can practise using the smaller lines which will be in our new writing books.
