Reading
Please continue to listen to your children read as regularly as possible.  Also remind them of the tricky words I, the, to, go, no, into, he, she, we, be, me, was, are, you, they, some, come, all, for, her, said, so, do, what, there, like, where.

Writing
Please encourage your child to write sentences at home. They could write about their day, write about a favourite toy or a model that they have made, write a letter to their family or make shopping lists.  Keep revisiting the spellings (graphemes) sh, ch, th, ng, ai, ee, igh, oa, oo, ar, or, oi, ow, ur and eras we hope that all of the children will be confidently using these spellings (graphemes) in their writing by the end of their time in Foundation Stage.

Maths
Where possible, continue to revisit our maths Early Learning Goals (listed on your parents evening sheets).  Again, we hope that all of the children will be confident with these by the end of their time in Foundation Stage.
As always, thank you for your continued support!
